Justin Possenti

In the summer of 2014 a friend asked me to direct and act in a film being submitted for the Inaugural 48 Hour Easterseals Disability Film Challenge. With Wheelz I won The Best Film Maker Award and screened at the Chinese Theaters in Hollywood at the Hollyshorts Film Festival. The experience was beautiful and it reignited my passion to do some work on the other side of the camera as an actor. For the past few years I have had the great fortune to work with some very talented directors, actors and film crews on some fantastic projects. I am proud to present the work we all did together. After studying acting for a decade, without pursuing the art professionally, I decided to focus on film creation and the finer points of the art of cinema. I focused on behind the camera activities like editing and shot composition with my ultimate goal being to become a full fledged film maker. Along the way, I picked up a passion for cinematography and then eventually photography with the advent of the DSLR. This website has many examples of my work in both moving and still imagery including my first short film, The Bridge, which premiered in France at The Cannes Film Festival in 2011. Recently I won the Best Music Video at the 2017 Jerome Indie Film and Music Festival for The Fuzzy Crystals video Spinning.
